Morning of the Forum

Well, its the first day of the CADCA Forum. Ok, actually its the day BEFORE the first day, but Community Prevention Day is still a part of the entire CADCA Forum experience. Think of it as the warm up act for the rest of the show. There are lots of activities planned for today and the cast and crew that traveled from WV to get here are actively getting settled into thier workshops. This morning, there is a keynote session with CSAP Director Dennis Romero and other underage drinking workshops. These are geared towards helping prevention the problems with not only underage drinking, but in which circumstances youth are getting and consuming alcohol. At 11:30, we will be convening in our Central CAPT regions to talk about specific territoral issues. This afternoon, the WV crew will be headed to other workshops and some of us will be participating in the Faith Based Symposium. Over all, this day is going to be filled with challenges but with a passion of learning to what would fix community issues at home.
